It Could Be Nothing, Anything, Meaningful, or Meaningless

Today some leaves blew across my path as I walked home.

The speckled patterns of decay reminded me that winter is upon us.

Another year is dying.

But, another year is born from this year’s death!

The still bright, and festive colors of autumn contrasted beautifully with the dark speckles.

Isn’t it interesting that leaves are most beautiful just before death?

The remaining hints of green are a reminder that another spring will come.

But, let’s not rush. Live in the moment. Live today. Love today.

Leaves are just leaves though: To you they may be meaningless trash. To me they may be artistic treasure. Tomorrow our views may be reversed.

Money is just money: Is it the key to happiness? Is it the root of all evil? It depends, doesn’t it?

Isn’t a squirrel just an extremely cute rat?

Life, and the way we live it, is all about perception.

Look at a leaf and look at life from a different angle, and in a different light.

It is the same, but also somehow different.

It can be whatever you wish it to be.
